Navigating the Path Forward: Toolkits & Guides

Whether you are helping a loved one prepare for release or looking for ways to access our digital gateway, these practical resources are built to guide you step-by-step.

Accessing Our AI Search Gateway

Our secure AI search platform operates entirely over standard institutional messaging systems (such as JPay, CorrLinks, or GTL/GettingOut). It requires no special hardware or direct internet access.

To get started, follow these simple guidelines:

1. Add the Gateway Contact: Families can register the gateway email address or contact number in their loved one’s facility messaging system (detailed facility white-lists are updated monthly below).

2. Format Your Query: Incarcerated individuals can write naturally. For example: "Find second-chance truck driving schools in Atlanta, GA" or "Explain the requirements for a commercial driver's license."

3. Receive Clean Data: Our system filters the web, strips away distracting ads, videos, and unsafe links, and delivers a concise, text-only informational response back to their inbox within hours.

Interactive Re-Entry Toolkits

We maintain an updated library of state-specific, second-chance directories. These guides are formatted clearly so they can be easily printed and mailed inside to your loved ones.

The First 72 Hours Guide: A critical checklist for immediate needs upon release (ID procurement, emergency housing, food assistance).

Employment & Resume Builder: Specially tailored for individuals explaining employment gaps due to justice involvement.

State Directory Hub: Access our folders of verified local housing, medical, and mental health providers.

Family Support Circle

Supporting an incarcerated family member is emotionally and logistically overwhelming. Our weekly, volunteer-led virtual support circles offer a safe space to share experiences, ask questions about facility regulations, and exchange advice on pre-release planning.
